About This Role
We're looking for a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team — playing a central role in delivering exceptional dining experiences that are scratch-made, locally inspired, and crafted with consistency and care. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in food preparation and cooking, with experience in both fine dining and high-volume service. Our kitchen isn't just a place of production — it's part of the heartbeat of our community.
This is a part-time role: 2pm–10pm, 20–35 hours per week, $17.50–$19.00 per hour, with employee discount.
Direct Responsibilities
• Prepare and cook menu items with precision, following established recipes and standards
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth and timely service
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
• Uphold food safety and sanitation best practices
• Contribute to menu planning and the development of new, creative dishes
• Assist with inventory management and ordering as needed
• Demonstrate proper knife skills and culinary techniques
• Support training and development of new kitchen staff
• Participate in catering events and special programming
Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Line Cook or in comparable culinary roles
• Strong cooking and presentation skills, with a focus on quality and consistency
• Experience in fine dining or catering preferred
• Solid understanding of food safety and kitchen operations
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with seasonal ingredients and menu development a plus
• Dietary knowledge or dietary aide experience beneficial
